Dynamical SUSY Breaking in Meta-stable Vacua

Supersymmetry is widely expected to be discovered experimentally at the Large Hadron Collider in the coming years. This will then present a huge theoretical challenge: what is the correct model of supersymmetry breaking? In this talk, we will consider the possibility of dynamical supersymmetry breaking (DSB) in metastable vacua. We will present a surprisingly simple example of metastable DSB: massive N=1 SQCD. The simplicity of this example suggests that metastable DSB is common in supersymmetric field theories and in the landscape of string vacua.
