2D quantum gravity, matrix models and analytic  fields on Riemann surfaces
	This is mainly an overview of the solvable statistical models on dynamical triangulations, their relation to matrix models and the uses of conformal theory techniques to solve them. I will give also some new exact results concerning the flow generated by the gravitationally dressed  thermal operator (1,3).
